Cherished Memories

Mrs. Bernice Baldwin of Calgary, passed away at the Peter Lougheed Hospital on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at the age of 81 years.

She was the loving mother of Linda (Vaughn) Klassen of Calgary and Tina Baldwin of Calgary. She will also be lovingly remembered by her four grandchildren: Jesse, Nikaela, Zachary, and Brett. She was predeceased by her husband William (Bill), parents Lawrence and Katherine Bradley, and siblings Muriel, Gloria, Sue and Bud.
Bernice was born in Ottawa, Ontario where she met her husband Bill. Together they raised their two girls until June 1980 when they headed west to Calgary, Alberta to start a new adventure. Bernice was an avid bingo player and had a great sense of humor. She loved to visit with family and friends, garden, and sit on her patio swing enjoying the sunshine. She provided childcare to many children over the years and especially for her grandchildren. She is now at peace and in Heaven with Bill where they are sitting on a bench and listening to the birds.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

A Private Celebration of Bernice's Life will be held at a later date.

Bernice was one of my favorite aunts .i lived with her and bill in Richmond Ontario when I was working with bill on the queensway in ottawa. I would stop by when ever i had a chance to vist with her and talk about old times .i will miss them visits with her . I visited her in the hospital when she was there. She had a great sense of humor as one day i went to see her and she told the nurse who is that old guy i don't know him and then lafted saying that she did know me. I know she is where she wanted to be for a few years now with all of her family and friends and bill..i do miss her so much and will never forget her

Aunt Bernice was the sweetest Aunt. She was caring, funny and full of family history. I enjoyed her last visit to Ottawa to help care for her sister Aunt Sue (Katherine). She is dearly missed by many. My sincere condolences to Tina and Linda and Bernice's grandchildren.
