Dolores DeSousa, 61, returned to her heavenly home on August 6, 2017 after a valiant battle with cancer. Her devotion to her family and her firm belief in God supported her in her struggle and ultimately gave her peace.
Dolores was blessed with a large and loving family. She married her best friend, Arthur DeSousa, on June 2, 1979 in Ontario. Dolores helped raise her only daughter, Connie DeSousa with patience, discipline, and humility. She taught her to cook and solve complex problems in life, and always encouraged Connie to follow her dreams. From the very beginning, she dedicated her child to God and encouraged her to explore the beauty of the gospels. Dolores devoted her life to the service of the people of God though the CWL. Dolores spent a lifetime of creativity designing flowers, becoming highly respected in her field. She was kind and always had time for her family and friends. She is dearly missed by her loved ones, who celebrate that she is at peace with her creator. Dolores is survived by her husband, Arthur; her daughter, Connie; her granddaughter Annabella; her mother, Margaret; her sisters Gwen, Colleen, and Michele. She is preceded in death by her father, George. Cremation has taken place.
