Albert “Al” Richard Lupton
Passed away suddenly on Friday, September 15, 2017 with his daughters by his side. Predeceased by his loving wife Edna of 58 years, Al is the loving father of Loreen Greer and husband Monte, Wendy Clever and husband Jon, Preeka Woods and husband Wayne and the late Lynda Hammerer. Much loved Grandpa of Clay (Danielle), Kimberley (Adam), Josh (Erika), Jarrod, Wendy, Kristi and Great Grandpa of Kaylin, Greyson, Violet, Corey, Lacy and Jamie.
A private celebration of his life will take place at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby, 905-443-3376. If desired, memorial donations to the Sunnybrook Veterans Centre Comfort Fund would be greatly appreciated (please specify Direct Deposit to K2C). To Rob and family. Albert took his walk to Millwork and made his way home down Hortop St. where I lived. Quite often I would see him and he would stop and chat about fishing. Will miss his great smile. Love Tom & Pam.
View MoreWhat a wonderful neighbour this gentleman was....he took his walks and was a friend to the children of the community known as the man with his Werthers candy. After we moved, I went to visit him unannounced during my lunch breaks (though not often enough) and was always welcomed with his ready smile! His conversations often started with...."tell me something....." and he readily listened to the news and happenings of my children and our lives.
