It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of their beloved mother, grandmother and aunt on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Centenary Hospital, Toronto. Predeceased by her former husband Bill Pascoe. Loving mother of Christy Van De Walker and Shannon Pascoe (Rob Ellerton). Dear grandmother of Emma, Daniel and Lucas. Predeceased by siblings Olga, Evelyn and Larry. Sadly missed by nephew Robin Stuart and his wife Jo Ann. Friends are invited to share with the family for a Reception to celebrate her life on Sunday, November 26, 2017 from 11 am - 2 pm at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or McMaster University where Dona chose to donate her body for medical research would be appreciated by the family. Dona often played my golf course (with her friend whos name escapes me) and I was always happy to see them. They would show up early while it was quiet and just take their time. I would often see them sitting on the benches and just enjoying the day. I didn't know her well, but I know she was a great person. I'm going to miss her smile
