Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on October 10, 2019 in his 88th year. Predeceased by his loving wife Cecile. Devoted father of Don Jr. (Charlene), Lynda (Sam Carusi), Susie, and Tom Milroy. Proud papa of Robert (Lynn), Jamie (Tara), Kevin, Christopher, Harleigh and Kamryn, and great-papa Tubby of Katelyn and Natalie. He will also be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby 905-443-3376 on Tuesday October 15, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday October 16 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow at The Italian Club (245 Simcoe Street S, Oshawa). In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the charity of your choice in Tubby's honour. Online condolences may be made at www.mountlawn.ca

My memories of Mr. Frankland are many. A very kind man. Spend many days at T Lake, Hockey Arenas, and just neighbourhood functions with the family and they were always great times. RIP
