ANDERSON, Doris – November 24, 1920 – January 22, 2018, at the age of 97, at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa. Doris
will be sadly missed by her family. Dearly loved and was devoted wife of the late Clifford “Tip”. Predeceased by parents Stella and Stanley Bone, and brothers Ron and George. Loving mother of Dave (Nancy) and Dale (Jean-Guy). Lovingly remembered by grandchildren Dana (Dan), Jeffrey (predeceased), Lori (Keith) and Brent (Serena) and great
grandchildren Mathieu, Cassia, Lauren, Jillian and Megan, sisters-in-law Muriel and Jean, and many nieces and nephews. Many thanks and much gratitude to the Hillsdale PSWs, Nursing, Social staff and Dr. MacIntosh for their kind and heartfelt care. Doris lived all of her life in Oshawa and had many friends. She loved to play bridge, curl, dance, travel and spend summers at the family cottage in Haliburton. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME 21 Garrard Rd., Whitby (N of hwy #2) 905 443-3376 for visitation on Saturday January 27th, 2018 from 2 – 4 p.m. Visitation to follow on Sunday January 28th, 2018 from 1:30 until time of funeral service in our Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Cremation Mount Lawn Crematorium. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Association would be gratefully appreciated.
