Forever in our Hearts

WILSON, Douglas Howden,

Passed away peacefully at Ross Memorial Hospital with his loved ones by his side on Sunday December 24, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 87.  He is survived by the “love of his life” Mercedes for 54 years.  Loving father of Cathy, Kevin (Haley), Lori Lee, and Kari (Pat).  Cherished by his grandchildren Kristen, Jennifer,
Travis, Jessica, Ryan, Cody, Colten, Tyler, Molly, and his great grandchildren Krista, Courtney, Karilin, Noah, Chelsea, Tyler, Madison, and Mackenzie and great great granddaughter wee Cathy.  Douglas was predeceased by his parents Greta Wilson Thom and Jack Wilson, and his eldest son Timothy, and his brother Bill.  Special thanks to Dr. Mike and Sara Francis, Dr. Chang, and the wonderful staff at Ross Memorial Hospital for the care and support they gave.

Visitation will take place at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd. Whitby (905-443-3376) on Saturday December 30, 2017 from 1-2:30 p.m. with a memorial service to commence in the chapel at 2:30 p.m.  In memory of Doug donations can be made to a charity of your choice.

We are so sorry for your loss. As we are out of the Country we will be unable to attend tomorrow but will be thinking of Uncle Doug as he is put to rest. God Bless. Rachel, Paul, Justine, and Cody Wilson.
