Obituary Overview

In Loving Memory

VOLPE, Giovanni “John”

Passed away on Monday, December 13, 2021 surrounded by his precious girls and his loving family.  Sadly missed
by his girls Madelaine and Grazia.  Loving husband to Monika.   Cherished brother to Maria, Filomena (Gino) and Tony (Laura).  Predeceased by his parents Francesco and Grazia.  Cherished son to Maria and Oma Inge.  Brother in law to Carmen (Jeff).  Uncle John will be missed by his nieces Melanie, Amanda (Mark), Brittany and Mia and nephew Christopher (Miska) and great nephew Reily.

John was a member of Local #183, worked in construction his whole life.  He enjoyed building, fishing, spending time outdoors but most of all time with family and friends laughing and joking around.  His most peaceful times were spent with family in Haliburton enjoying nature.

Special thanks to Scarborough Centenary Hospital Fourth Floor Cardiac Wing doctors and nurses for the care and dignity they showed John in his final days.  He will be remembered for his infectious laugh, amazing cooking abilities and willingness to help neighbours and friends to fix and build anything.
