It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jacqueline Langley at Lakeridege Health Bowmanville on September 25th, 2018. Jackie was 77. Beloved daughter of the late Alice "Daisy" and Jack. Devoted sister to Bill and his wife Eva and Paul and his wife Lori. Jackie always loved being around her nieces and nephews Jeff (Lauren), Sarah (Chris) MacGregor, Darren (Emilie), Phyllis, Patrick, Allison and Elizabeth. She especially loved her great nieces and nephews. She had a lasting and strong connection to her many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She managed to look after herself after her dad passed away and developed friendships at the Oshawa Seniors Centre and later on, at Strathaven Nursing Home. Everyone will miss her greeting cards, long phone calls and her uncanny ability to produce bunka and cross stitch gifts. Many thanks to the staff at Strathaven for their care and patience with Jackie. The compassionate care given by the critical care staff of Bowmanville Hospital was greatly appreciated.
The family will receive friends at the MOUNTLAWN FUNERAL HOME, 21 Garrard Rd Whitby (905-443-3373) on Monday October 1, 2018 from 1:30 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation. Online condolences may be made at www.mountlawn.ca
Dear Bill, Paul, and the rest of the family,
Please accept our sincere condolences for the loss of Jackie. She was a remarkable person who had left many memories for us to reflect and smile upon. It was always obvious that she was proud of and loved her family, especially her brothers, so very much.

I remember Jackie fondly from living at Rosslyn Arms Apartments a number of years ago; she was always so pleasant and enjoyed taking the time to chat. My condolences to the Langley family as you adjust to the loss of your sister, sister-in-law and beloved Aunt. May she rest in peace.
