Leonard "Barry" Stephens

On Wednesday November 1st 2017, surrounded by his loved ones, our beloved Barry passed away. He will be deeply missed by his wife loving wife of 47 years, Sheila, his devout sisters Pearl, Sonia (Chris), Minette, Rose (Omari), Ingrid (Byron), his devoted son Ron (Vanessa), and his dedicated grandchildren Natasha, Chantal and Carmen, along with his entire loving family of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Papa was driven by his devotion to his family and will be remembered as a happy, strong man always offering support and comfort.

Special thanks to the staff at Lakeridge Hospital and Clinic for their kind and compassionate care during our most difficult time.

Friends may join the family in the celebration of Barry’s life at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard St. Whitby, ON, 905-443-3376, on Tuesday November 14, 2017. The service will begin at 11:00 am in the chapel amd there will be the opportunity for those who wish to say goodbye to Len prior to the service at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, we are asking for donations to be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Memories and condolences can be shared online in the guestbook above.
