Very sorry to hear about the family's loss. Frank has been a great friend and music companion. I recall sitting with Mrs Zieger in Frank's home and how proud she was of Frank and how much she loved watching us play music. Our prayers and thoughts go to the family.

Lost Together

That’s how my Mom and Dad must have felt,
when they landed in this great country,
not speaking a word of english.

I don’t remember back that far,
but I do remember,
my Mom taking me to nursery school,
on the Ossington bus, in the morning,
before she went to work, at the chocolate factory.

I remember my Mom baking,
the most fantastic cakes and cookies,
always, while listening to her favourite music,
playing in the background.

I remember my Mom making me lunch,
when I came home from Regal Road school, at lunch time.

I remember my Mom working at the cafeteria,
at my high school RH King,
and all my friends telling me how much they liked her.

I remember my Mom catching a huge muskie,
fishing with my Dad, at their cottage on Cranberry Lake,
in Haliburton.

I remember my Mom digging and transplanting flowers,
in her garden, cause that’s what she loved doing.

I remember my Mom and her best friend Maxine,
watching John and I playing music,
in the park, in New Castle, and seeing she was so proud,
she was crying.

Most of all, I remember my Moms kindness and strength,
and her positive out look on life,
even when she found out she had cancer,
Fred and I can tell you, she fought till the very end.

Thank you to everyone who had some part in making Moms life,
a good life, and a happy life.

Good bye Mom, we’ll never forget you

Our deepest condolence to Mary"s family.
Mary was a great person we knew her only for a short time
but we loved her friendliness and easy going. She loved the
Thursday meetings at Club Loreley in Oshawa were she
became friends with many of us. She will be missed dearly
by us all. May the Lord grand her eternal peace
