With sadness in our hearts, we announce the peaceful passing of Myrtle Betts at Lakeridge Health Ajax-Pickering on Thursday May 31, 2018 at the age of 85. Loving mother of Ray Sanford (Cindy), Brian Sanford (Lorie), Kevin Sanford and Terri-Lee Sanford (Michael). Proud Grandma of Crystal Sanford, Brieann Sanford (Justin) and Great Grandma of Kianna, Ethan and Greyson.
At Myrtle’s request, cremation and a private celebration of life will be held. If desired, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Canadian Cancer Society. Memories and condolences can be shared in the guestbook above.

So many years, so very many memories. For a time, Aunt Casey was my second Mom. Fate brought her even closer to our family when my sister married her son. She will always have a special place in our hearts and in our memories. She will never be forgotten. Thank you, for making an 11 year old little girl feel smart and important, useful and appreciated.
