Obituary Overview

Forever Loved

With deep sadness we announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Norm Mehew on Thursday November 9, 2017 in Ajax at the age of 60. Loving husband and best friend to Mary Jane for over 36 years. Most caring and dedicated father of Michelle Beauchamp (Matthew) and Kris Mehew (Melissa). Proud and devoted Papa of four beautiful grandchildren; Marissa, Olivia, Jackson and Tristan, who were his world. The youngest of three brothers, Norm was born to Gladys and the late Albert. He will be dearly missed by his brothers William (Marian), Gordon (Linda), brother-in-law Glenn, sisters-in-law Lisa (Dan), Leanne (Tony), nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

After a long career in the printing industry, Norm enjoyed semi-retirement. A music enthusiast, Norm had a love for the open road and water, spending time up north with his family and friends. A true family man, Norm absolutely adored his wife, children and grandkids. His warmth and caring nature will stay with us forever.

Join the family in celebrating Norm’s life at Mount Lawn Funeral Home & Cemetery, 21 Garrard Rd, Whitby, 905-443-3376, on Sunday November 19, 2017 for Visitation from 1:00-3:00pm with Memorial Service in the chapel at 3:00pm and reception to follow.
