Today I had the pleasure of listening to wonderful stories of things you did and said to people. You touched the lives of many and I have my own stories of things we did... and can have a giggle of some of the stuff we got into. Miss you dad, luv you lots. Your daughter, Susan.
I met Mr. Heron when I was a young teenager through his son, Mike. I quickly got to know his entire family. Sightings of Mr. Heron seemed rare as he was working many hours to provide for his family. When we did have time together, I found him to be an extremely kind and respectful man. He is a man to be respected and the proof in that is that he has a beautiful wife and has raised successful, wonderful children who I am proud to include in my life. I am truly sorry that I cannot be there with you today but know that my deepest and warmest thoughts will be. Godspeed, Mr. Heron.
I have so many great memories of my Grandpa, Ossie. His smile and laugh always made the room such a happier mood. He told the best stories...my favourite was about his finger. He loved his cowboy shows and movies and when we were at my grandparents house they would always have a classic movie on. He taught me everything I needed to know to win at Dominoes, his favourite game. He also taught me at a young age how to cut an apple so perfectly... and yes this is the way I practiced for so long to replicate the way he did it. I will never forget it. He was the Champ! I will miss his voice, his smile, his laugh, and much more. I love you Grandpa. May you rest in peace.
Rest In Peace grandpa Oswald. Even though a grandpa in law, Oswald always made me feel welcome and a part of the family. I will never forget our short games of dominoes as he always made winning look easy. I am happy that Bradley and Ava got to meet such a great personality. You will be truly missed but never forgotten. Much love from James, Ashton, Bradley and Ava.
I had the pleasure and honour of being Ossie’s daughter-in-law for 27 and a half years, and his son’s girlfriend for 13 years. He was a loving, hardworking and generous man, who loved to be in his garden and to have a nice cold beer or a rum and coke on a hot summer’s day. He had a megawatt smile, an infectious laugh and gave the best hugs ever. I will truly miss you Grandpa Ossie as will Wayne and your grand and great-grandkids. Hope you are playing dominoes in Heaven and I am sure there was a big reception for you there. Love you. Rest In Peace and May God Bless your soul.
Wishing you peace to bring comfort, and loving memories to forever hold in your hearts.
Uncle Ossie will forever be remembered in our hearts. He has assended to glory, and now dances with those love ones gone before him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
