Patricia Margaret Lane (nee Foster)

After 91 active years, Patricia Margaret Lane (nee Foster) passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of April 1st, 2018. Loving daughter of the late Margaret and Robert Foster, cherished mother of Lee Andrew Lane, and mother-in-law of Karen Lane (nee Pounder), and beloved grandmother to Sara Ashley, Victoria Anne and her husband Michael. Pat joins her pre-deceased brother Keith, and is survived by her younger brother Clyde. She is remembered fondly, and missed greatly by her extended family, nieces, nephews, and cousins in Great Britain.

Grandma Pat was a fun loving, sassy and independent lady who was born in Montreal on September 8th, 1926 and grew up in Pointe Claire, Quebec, living in Leaside, Port Perry, and Scarborough Ontario, retiring at age 65 from City Pontiac-Buick. 

A public visitation will be held at 1:30 PM on Sunday, April 8th, at Mount Lawn Funeral Home and Cemetery, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby Ontario, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:30pm in the Mount Lawn chapel.
