View MoreDALEY Sybil May, (formerly of Smithfield, Sav-La-Mar, Westmoreland, Jamaica, also of Vere and Monymusk, Clarendon, Jamaica also of Oshawa, Ontario), peacefully passed away with her family and friends by her side at Hillsdale Estates, Oshawa on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at age 87. Sybil, beloved wife of the late Gerald Daley. Loving mother of Yvonne, Claudette (Enley Boyd), Jacqueline (Ronald Mason), Ingrid (Neville Bradnock), Michelle (Robert Martin) and the late Marcia and Astley Dunn. Proud grandmother of 14 and great grandmother of 9. Dear sister of Berbet. Sybil will be lovingly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. A special thank you to the medical, nursing and ancillary staff at Hillsdale Estates, Willow Way and her care givers Elizabeth, Elaine, Karen, Katelyn, Alexianna, Josefina and the staff at Bayshore Home Health Care, Paramed, Community Care Durham and Home Instead Seniors Care. Family and friends will be received at MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY, 21 Garrard Road, Whitby (North of Hwy 2) 905-443-3376 on Thursday, November 30 from 6-9 pm and Friday, December 1, 2017 from 2-4 & 6-9 pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017 in St. George's Anglican Church, 51 Centre Street, South, Oshawa at 1 pm. Entombment Mount Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham Region would be appreciated.
