With profound sadness the family announces the sudden passing of Michael on August 31, 2022 at 68 years of age. Devoted husband, best friend to Marla, with whom he celebrated 41 years of marriage. Loving father (Daddy/Daddio) of Bryan and Rochelle (Daniel). Beloved brother to Steve (Dorothy) Howard and Brother in-law, Stephen (Sandy) Schecter. Adored son-in-law- of Clarice Schecter (the late Herbert Schecter). Predeceased by his loving parents Joseph and Gladys Howard. Cherished uncle to Sean, Mitchell, Amy and Deanna.
He always gave generously to others and made their lives richer with his friendship. He had a passion for food (loved to cook, watch the Food Network and catered special events). He loved a good ol’ hockey game (Montreal Canadiens), painting, design and photography. He was an animal lover-Murphy will miss him dearly. He will miss their visits and snuggles.
He loved his family more than anything in the world. He was our rock and the glue that held us all together. His loss will be felt by many people, his family, friends and the community.
A special thank you to the staff at Heron Terrace (Shallows Lane). They will forever be part of our family.
