Joyce Coté (Collins)

Passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, September 8th, 2019. Joyce is the loving wife of Nelson and the loving mother to Jehne (Trevor), Darryl (Lorie) and Darcy (Tammy.) She is the beloved and cherished nana to Jessica, Jack, Sadie and Nathan. Joyce is the daughter of the late Edward and Leta Collins. Special sister to William (Marilyn.) Beloved aunt to Drew and Courtney (Tyler) and great- aunt to Kennedy and Marty. Joyce will be greatly missed by the Coté Family; Rita, Doreen (Frank), Neil, BJ (Steve), Raymond, Maddy (Duncan), Kathy (Pat), Theresa (Jeff), Anita (Peter), Peter (Madeline) and Michelle (Simon.) Joyce will also be missed by friends around the globe and all those who knew her. Joyce’s visitation and funeral service will be held at St. Paul’s United Church, Midland. Visitation will be on Friday, September 13th, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. A celebration of Joyce’s life will follow the service at her home located at 204 Gilwood Park Drive, Penetanguishene. If so desired, memorial donations by cheque or online to Scleroderma Canada would be greatly appreciated. Messages of condolence may be left at Funeral arrangements entrusted to the Nicholls Funeral Home.

My sympathy to you, Nelson, and your family. I worked with Joyce for a couple of years at the Penetanguishene General Hospital. She was a great colleague and fun to be around. Unfortunately we moved away so I didn't get to share any more of her life.

I was so saddened to hear of Joyce's passing. My condolences to everyone in the family. She was such a sweet woman. She will be missed by everyone who knew her. I will keep you all in my prayers.
