Obituary Overview

Please take a moment to sign the guestbook

Our beautiful mother, and grandmother Celine Sequeira passed away peacefully in her sleep on Monday, March 13th 2017 in her 88th year. She is survived by her loving husband Joe, who remained by her side until her final moments. She will be immeasurably missed by her three children Ed (Andrea), Joe (Layne), and Anne-Marie (Martin). Grandma Celine will be forever remembered by her grandchildren Lauren, Evan, Colin, Clayton, Johnny, and Anna.
A woman of admirable strength and determination, Celine spent over 30 years as a teacher in Montreal after earning a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Michigan. She was the first person, man or woman, from her Catholic community in Pakistan to earn an American university degree.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the wonderful staff of the Bronte Section at the Chartwell Waterford Long Term Care Facility.
A mass celebrating her life will be offered on Saturday April 22nd at 10am at St James Church 231 Morden Road Oakville.

Dear Joe: As a devout Catholic you know that life must end here on earth, as a happier one awaits all God's people - and dear Celine was definitely one of them. With our prayers may she join that heavenly choir and then help you and the family here below. We will be coming on April 22nd to personally offer you and your family our condolences. Agen and Patsy
