Katrina and Alexandra,

I'm so sorry to hear of the loss of your father. I first met Harold at the old Nanticoke Golf & Country Club and have very fond memories of his very quiet manner and interest in just about any topic. The golf industry has lost a true gentleman. Thank you for sharing all the wonderful photos on-line.

Katrina and Alexandra - my sincere sympathies for you and your families with the passing of your dear father. Your father and I met on the construction of our first golf course in the early seventies when I was just about 16 years old. He made a very strong first impression as a man of character and integrity in an industry where those qualities were sometimes hard to find. I'm sure those were the very qualities which have made his legacy so enduring. He never failed to ask how my parents were and I always felt like I had his full attention.
He stood very tall in the golf industry and I will miss him.

Katrina and Family. So sorry to hear of Harolds passing. We live next door to him in Hollybrook in the winter. We are from St. Catharines. Harold was always a great person to talk to and we even played golf together on many occasions in Hollybrook. Great neighbor and great friend. Our condolences and may God bless.

Katrina and Family, I am so sad to hear of your fathers passing. I learnt to golf at Oakville Executive and was always happy to see your father's smiling face when I was there. Loosing a parent is very difficult and my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. I will think of him often during my days golfing and never forget how his golf course inspired me to shoot over the water, hoping to make it onto the green. So very sorry for your loss. Linda Fuller

Dear Alexandra and Katrina,

With sadness I received the news of Harold`s passing away. I had the pleasure to know your father for the last
nearly 20 years. During this time I enjoyed many happy moments with him and Nahéed.
I am grateful to have known Harold and will keep him always as a very kind and generous person in my memory.

I wish you both strength and confidence during this sad time in your life.
With kindest regards

Eva Quiring
