~ for my husband David.
I cannot believe I will never look into those beautiful blue eyes again. My sweetheart, my sole mate, my best friend.
There is a big hole in my heart. I will love you forever.

Sometimes you meet someone and you can see the kindness in their eyes. Dave was one of those special people. When I had the pleasure of meeting both Dave and Shirley, I was welcomed as family. He was such a sweet and loving soul.

Shirley, Susie, Rachel, Patty and Greg…I am so sorry for your loss. May your memories help your hearts heal. Love and light.

It was a 1970 chevelle ss.

I remember the best car ride of my life.... like it was yesterday, with Uncle Dave...

That beautiful car is engraved in my memory.....that ride with uncle Dave 30 years ago, on the highway as he opened that thing right up.....and raced another car....kicking their butt....was a ride I've never forgotten.

Uncle Dave knew how to make a memory....and make it last.

I’ll always hold on to this memory.

Thank you uncle Dave.

My mom married Dave when I was 11 years old. I never called him "Dad", but Dave was very much a father to me....the best father I could ever wish for. Over the years my words were often followed with an "eh Dave?" because Daves seal of approval meant the world to me. When my son Daniel was growing up he was full of questions, curious about everything. I'd often tell him I didnt know the answers, that he best ask his Papa.
Dave was not only an amazing father to me, but he was an incredible role model/mentor and father figure to my son Daniel. Dave was also the very best Papa to my 4 grandchildren. Lily & Izzy, who are older will have memories to last a lifetime, and for that I am so grateful. Theres so much I could say about my "Davey-do-Dad". He was really the best and I'm going to miss him so much. My mom couldnt have found a better person to share her life with.
I love you so much Dave. You loved me unconditionally,
supporting me threw all lifes ups and downs. You were always there. I Love You so much.

Dave was like my brother and we shared so many wonderful memories such as our Cruise to Alaska and during our many visits to Ontario. Dave was my mentor providing me with advice and counsel on so many technical matters. He had the special ability to reach out and assist all members of the family. He will be with me always.

I can't put into words how Papa has influenced our lives and together with Nana supported Dan, myself, and our children. When people talk about being the good in the world, that was Papa. He made things better, more fun, more memorable.

We will always share your stories, speak your name, and hold tight to our memories with you. We love you Papa and will always think of you and miss you. πŸ’šπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’š

I had the honour of taking care of David as his Family Doctor. He was the kindest and sweetest person I knew! Always with a great sense of humour. The last time I saw him was at Seymour Hannah arena to give him his covid shot. His beard a little longer but his smile that always reached his eyes was there. As he started to walk away he stopped and gave me a little tap on my shoulder, smiled and said "take care of yourself kid, we need you!" Thank you David for always being that bit of joy in my day! We will miss you. Our most heartfelt condolences to the family.

It was such a pleasure staying with him during Susie and Paul's wedding.

His motorcycle stories where truly amazing. A great adventurous spirit gone too soon, but at least he lived his life to the fullest. I feel blessed to have been able to spend that time with him.

Sending my love to all the family.

Uncle Dave was such a genuinely kind and welcoming soul. He effortlessly emitted positive and calming vibes where ever he went. His multitude of talents was simply inspiring. I always wondered if he ever truly knew the impact he had on the people he encountered. He will be greatly missed, but will surely live on through the many lives he has touched.
With so much love: Judy, Jenna, Kelly, and Chris
