I recently found out that Gerald had passed away and I was sad. We both played for the Bay Mooseheads in the 90's and attended an Old Pro Hockey Camp one summer. Watching him play made me happy that we were on the same team as not too many opponents could match his drive, determination and raw talent. In other words, get out of the way or be run over.
Even though I had not seen him in years all I can say is that, once a teammate, always a teammate, and he will be missed.
Angela, Cheryl, Jerry and family. Scott and I are so sorry for your loss. Gerald was a very loving caring guy! Thinking of you, on this difficult day, Hugs.
Angela and family,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this difficult time. Gerald was an incredible man. He will be missed by so many, especially his amazing family.
Love and God Bless,
Pieter and Nancy Webbink
Devastated for you and your family Angela. I will remember Gerald for his kindness and generosity. Our last time together we all held hands and prayed in the lobby of a hotel in Toronto.
May the God who hears our prayers be your comfort and sustain you in the difficult days.
I would like to give my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Gerald. I've worked with Gerald on and off for the last 18 years, and I can honestly say he was a master of his craft and a well respected builder in the area.
Dear Angela!
We are saddened to read of Gerrys passing. ( I lost one of my dearest friends three and a half years ago to the same dreadful cancer. )
We remember with fondness and smiles the fun we had all those years ago when you lived out here.
Sending our warmest hugs and condolences to you and Gerrys family.
Cathy and George Turner
