Charles Marvin Oventhal (AH)

Charles Marvin Oventhal, 71, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Windsor Regional Hospital – Ouellette Campus in Windsor. He was born in Detroit. He is survived by his loving sisters: Charlene Oventhal Yudowin of Ypsilanti, Michigan; Brenda Oventhal Saperstein of Denver, Colorado; and Rosalie Levy Linksman of New Rochelle, New York. He is also survived by his nephew, David Mitchell Yudowin in Michigan, and his niece, Sari Marissa Saperstein and her husband, Rich Hohenbrink in Colorado. Charles is also survived by his 16-month-old great-niece, Maude Sap Hohenbrink; nephews Howard, Leslie and Jay Levy and all their families in the New York area. Charles was the son of Samuel Z. Oventhal and Ida Mickelson Oventhal and the sister of the late Sheila Marie Oventhal.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at 12 pm, Rachel Kaplan Hebrew Memorial Chapel, 685 Aylmer Avenue. Rabbi Sholom Galperin officiating. Interment will follow immediately at the Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery at 2650 Pillette Road.
