DAVENPORT, Carol Jayne (nee FOX) January 17, 1945 – June 3, 2021
It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Carol Jayne Davenport peacefully at home surrounded by her family, on Thursday June 3, 2021. Beloved partner of 26 years of the late Bill Davies. Loving Mom to Bruce (Trish) Davenport, Brenda Lee, and Lori (Kevin) Morrissette. Stepmom to Ryan (Meredith) Davies and Elizabeth (Mark) Williams. Much loved Grandma of Brad (Ashley), Marlee (Candace), Mackenzie, Max, Kierstyn, Addison, Ben, Reid, and Vaughn. Great Grandma to Peyton and Harper. Family was most important to Carol. With great strength, she lovingly raised her three children on her own, providing a home filled with love, enjoying life’s simple pleasures. Carol worked at Loblaws in the bakery for over 35 years, and had many fond memories and friendships from her time there. She was an avid antique collector, but her true life’s passion was gardening. Carol was happiest digging in the dirt, and could be found nurturing her beautiful perennial gardens from morning ‘til night, spring through fall. Carol will be sadly missed by her family and close friends. She will remain in our hearts forever. In keeping with Carol’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Arrangements are entrusted to MOUNT LAWN FUNERAL HOME & CEMETERY. Memorial donations in Carol’s memory may be made to the charity of your choice. Online condolences may be shared in the guestbook.

Our deepest sympathy on the loss of your Mom. We fondly remember our time as neighbours and how friendly Carol was and her laughter. May the love she had for each of you and your families help you through these sad times.
