I was shocked and saddened to hear of Shannon’s passing. I worked with her at The Children’s Wish Foundation. Shannon was a spark that lit up every room she entered. She spoke often of how proud she was of her children. She was a fantastic young woman and I’m a better person for having known her. No matter what challenge came her way she was positive and passionate about helping others. My sincerest condolences to all who knew and loved Shannon.
The first day I met Shannon, she made me laugh so hard, I nearly wet myself! We talked for over an hour before my volunteer shift with her. Shannon was just so easy to talk to, to be with or share anything with. I didn't know her for a long time but felt like I had. We shared a lot together at the Abilities Centre. This is such a great shock to me. My heart goes out to her children and partner.

So many random pieces of memory flowing through my brain from over the last 10 years. I’m forever thankful you and my father reconnected when you did.
Eva will be raised knowing her name came from some very strong women in our family, and I am so thankful you got to meet her. You will be irrevocably missed.
I was one one Shannon's Coaches at Orangetheory Fitness. We had a lot of fun, joked around, we had good chats always. I will cherish those interactions. My condolences to her family/friends. One thing was apparent in our conversations, she sure loved her children. R.I.P. Shannon xo
My father (Al Ruttan) and I wish to express our condolences to the March family. I have fond memories of Shannon, when I was a little girl growing up in the Garden Street town homes in Whitby, Ontario. There were a few times Shannon walked me home from school. My late mother Donna Ruttan and our family always remembered and thought fondly of the March family. Please accept our sincere condolences.
