I’m very sorry to hear of Johns death. John had been very generously helping with shared family history; I enjoyed our emails and Johns stories of of growing up and holidays with my Dad in the North East of England.
Sorry for the loss of John. Our thoughts go to all his family and friends in Canada Although I had I had only met John once, my sister Julie and I, communicated often about family history of the Kell’s/Robinson’s. Dads, Gordon Burton, mum was Olive Kell. John and his font of knowledge will be sadly missed.
Ann and family
I had the opportunity to work with John at the Boundary Dam plant in Estevan. I learned a lot because of his previous experiences. I enjoyed his confidence and humor. I realize the next while will be difficult for you but you can be assured there are many friends thinking of you at this time.

We were saddened to read John's obituary. We always enjoyed his company and his sense of humour. Along with Ann, John was a tremendous help to us as we learned to parent and especially to advocate for our son Robin. We remember his calm and helpful presence with us at school meetings, his generosity with his time, the generosity of his spirit. As time went on we valued John's reflections on his parenting experiences, and the long view he was able to give us.
