Forever In Our Hearts


It is with the heaviest of hearts, that we his family announces that, Kaleab passed away suddenly on Monday, April 30, 2018. 

 He was predeceased by his grandpa Harold Schmidt; and grandma Judy Barker. 

 Kaleab is survived by his parents Sandra and Dean Schmidt, sisters Kidist and Semehal; grandma Lucille (Ron) Schmidt-Faure; grandpa Lary Barker; aunts and uncles Audrey (Jason), Stacey (Brent), Tricia (Lowell), Lisa (Kevin) and Pam; plus numerous cousins and extended family and friends. 

 Kaleab had a good spirit, big smile and a passionate enthusiasm for all sports, football, soccer, basketball, as well as training and working out.

 He will be remembered for playing sports with the Kaleab edge. He was well liked by his teammates and his school friends. 

 He was on the honour roll for the past three years. 

 He had a great love for all pets.

 A VISITATION for family and friends will be held at Regina Funeral Home, 4001 East Victoria Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m.. 

 A FUNERAL MASS will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 302 King Street, Balgonie, SK on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. 

 Flowers gratefully accepted.

I remember during summer games we played against him and it was a great game I really enjoyed it and I Remember this one goal he scored it was a header he jumped over me and scored I wish I couldve got closer with him because he seemed like such a nice guy and good kid.My prayers and condolences go out to his family
