Thanks for everything Gord. I was so happy I got to experience, not just view, but experience the last show the Hip played in Halifax. I was in a SkyBox just next to the stage and seeing the cander of the band and technicians, and road crew was simply amazing. Thanks for everything, thanks for being Canada. You will always be missed and absolutely never forgotten. I will teach my son about the amazing human being you were and the legacy left behind.

I got to see Gord perform a few times. The most memorable would be his Secret Path show in Halifax. I will forever cherish what some did not get to experience. A true legend. Rest In Peace Gord and may your family find serentity.

I grew up through my college years listening to the Hip and have seen them several times. Gord was such a charismatic entertainer. One of my all time favourite songs is the Killer Whale tank version of New Orleans is sinking. Gord was a true artist and will be missed.
