Arlene and I were classmates at the University of Alberta. She was part of a small group who gathered for a reunion several years ago near Campbell River. We will make a donation to the School of Physiotherapy in her memory. I was always impressed with her compassion, steady, kind smile, and the careful attention she exhibited when conversing. I'm certain both her patients and her family benefited from these characteristics. Tonight, I'll light a candle in her honour.
