My deepest and most sincere condolences to the Volpe Family. Mr. Volpe was a great mentor to me for many years. He was so kind. I spent hours and hours on end watching highlight tapes of so many promising players with him in his office. We walked together to practice and watched practice together so many times. He shared more about life and wisdom with me than football which was just so great. I was a young man at the time and he was so generous with his thoughts and lessons on life. He has always been in my thoughts and will continue to be. May he rest in peace. Dean Albrecht
Nick lived and loved life. Martin Luther said that only those who live well can die well. Nick lived with a fullness that encouraged life wherever he wandered. We love him. He has been a true icon for me. I am only 80 and hope I can grow up to be a Nick Volpe.
