View MoreI met Norma and Bill in 1986 when Norma and I both attended the Transitional Year program at the University of Toronto. I was a single mom at the time and Bill was very welcoming when we met the first time. Norma and Bill and William became like a second family to me and to my children. Norma and I dragged each other through that first year and Bill was our cheerleader. He never gave up on us and we all supported each other. Many years have passed and we are all retired from those wonderful careers that we had. Our children are grown up and middle aged now and we are at the end period of our lives. Bill is the first to go…he always wanted to lead the way. Now he will look after the rest of us from his special place in heaven!
